Matt Newey

Working in the fitness industry for over 15 years, has afforded Matt with a holistic understanding of people and barriers they experience when trying to make a change. He set up Bene-Fit to incorporate all of his knowledge and learnings so that he can help people make positive changes to their exercise and nutrition habits to improve their overall health and wellbeing. Matt brings a mix of quality prescription, humour and encouragement to every session.

PERSONAL TRAINER, CO-DIRECTOR BENE-FIT

Kristy Robertson

Starting her fitness career at 16 shadowing experienced trainers in gyms, along with her jazz ballet dance background firing up her love for delivering aerobics classes means that Kristy has extensive knowledge and passion as a trainer. Combining this with a Sport & Exercise Science degree to further strengthen her knowledge and understanding of the body, Kristy balances technique and creativity in every session.

‘Our Bene-Fit fitness programmes are designed to achieve results and I never give up until I have found what truly motivates or 'clicks' for my clients. My strongest skills are designing successful nutritional plans and assisting people with weight loss. I LIKE to get results. I pride myself on being able to change a person’s mindset towards exercise and lifestyle.’

Bachelor of Science in Sport & Exercise from The University of Auckland
Netfit Group Fitness / Gym Instructor
Solo Seal Diploma in Modern Dance - NZAMD Auckland
